Lawrie Driver was much loved and will be treasured in the memories of all his friends and family.
Lawrie judged his riches in life not by what he had or what he had achieved but by whom he had in his life.  By his own definition he was a very rich man.
Lawrie was the most generous of people in all aspects of his life. He always had a smile and a helping hand for everyone. He was so very brave in his last weeks with not one word of self pity or complaint he continued to enjoy the company of his friends and family every day.
Lawrie had many more facets to his life than most people and enjoyed them all. He was a very proud hands-on Dad and he was known for cheering people up with one of his naff jokes.

You can donate to St Francis Hospice on this page or on the day of the funeral when envelopes will be available.  
All funds will be used to build a new pond at St Francis and to secure the continuation of the support and care provided by the St Francis Community Nursing team without whom we most certainly could not have managed. They made it possible for us to have our last weeks together as quality and enjoyable weeks at home.
