To most people it was Lawrie, but to me it was Lol. Perhaps because the three first words I said were Mum, Dad and Lol, as Lawerence was a bit of a mouthful at six months. Lol was kind generous and loved life and people. When he was young he could also be a (bl--- dy handful) but if I had to pick my own brother I would have chosen the same again.
